We are pleased to offer some more focused classes in addition to our Core Classes. Many people at the Boston Vineyard have found the following classes beneficial and enriching.

Current Classes

These classes are offered one to three times each year. For a full list of upcoming events, go to the  calendar.

  • Baptism Class
  • Building the Multiethnic Church
    In this weekend-long session, we'll look at why God longs for multiethnic churches and what we might do to develop some of the richest relationships we’ve ever experienced.
  • Center City Summit 
    This Conference is open to anyone who feels passionately about pastoring secular America.
  • Child Dedication Class
    The Greater Boston Vineyard periodically celebrates the births and arrivals of children with dedications of our kids into God's family.
  • Community Development Volunteer Training                                                                We plan to articulate our vision and philosophy of ministry so that all our volunteers can understand what “community development” is and how we’re trying to approach it from a thoughtful, Biblical perspective.                                                   
  • Developing Your Ministry
    If you've been thinking about starting your own ministry through the church for some time now and need some structured guidance to help turn your vision into a reality, this class is for you!
  • Discovery Weekend
    (See Core Classes )
  • Getting to Know the Bible
    This class provides you with some basic tools to help you to get to know the Bible better, enjoy your Bible reading more, and get more out of it.
  • Hearing the Voice of God
    A three-week course focused on developing your ability to hear God's voice for personal devotion and direction.
  • Living Waters Programs
    For some, these programs are a safe place to explore life's wounds; for others, it is a rare context in which to be gut honest about issues around sexuality, gender, and identity; for still others, it is a lifeline in the face a current relational crisis.
  • The Marriage Course
    A 9-week course for married, dating or engaged couples.
  • PeaceWorks Conflict Resolution Workshop
    This interactive workshop will include teachings on basic peacemaking principles.
  • Personal Finance
    This is a 10 week in-depth study of what Scripture teaches about money and possessions, work, ethics, debt and more.
  • SEEK
    If you're wondering how faith might play a role in your life, or curious about about ideas such as prayer, communication with God, or how Jesus might fit into a faith journey, SEEK is a great opportunity to search for answers in a group context.
  • Spirit and Power
    A one-day class focused on praying with the power of the Holy Spirit.

The following classes are not currently being offered.

  • Public Speaking 101
    This 4-Tuesday class will allow you to practice your public speaking and receive supportive feedback.
